I'll try and find one Steve. I'm pleased someone remembers this, it was very big at Wigan then suddenly vanished. Doesn't stand up that well today but was nice at the time.

Good look

very elusive

Also a great track by them called "Back UP",

which "Impo" is a better track than "Long Time",

i`m sure "Back Up" is a Canadian only Lp track, anyone got the LP?.

Steve - if you don't get any luck I can put on CDr - agree with Pete Smith sentiments on this, and the vocals sound a bit weaker than I remember them when pounding out of "Russ' Everyman Sound System".....always quite catchy though

What's the project? "Songs That Don't Have An Ounce Of Soul In Them"? :D

blush.gif:yes: such sharp teeth you have Grandma!

But he does look so fetching in a dress

Hi Steve

Back Up did come out on 45 on Canadian orange RCA with what I think is a wonderful piece of music on the other side called This Is My Condition. By strange coincidence I have just burnt this track to CD-R for a mini exchange over on Soul Talk. I did like Long Time in my Wigan days but I agree doesn't have the magic of 77 anymore!!!

If you want to hear This Is My Condition then drop me a mail - colin.dilnot@btinternet.com

See ya

OK, so I dug the Black and Ward 45's out and I have 3 spare copies of the Back Up 45 if anybody wants to make an offer.

What is this worth?

This is the 'other' one by them and not Long time/This is my confusion-RCA

Any chance of a sound file of both sides?

Did they also have an LP released?

Cheers
