Does anyone in the entire world sell records at "book prices" apart from the people who write the books?

I have a book in which I've listed records I want to buy and the prices I want to pay. No-one ever sells records at those prices!!

  • If people use it as a GUIDE then there's no real problem. If people use it as a BIBLE then it starts to get silly. Of course the other use it has is for discographies, research, catalogue

Any sales list, in any format whatsoever that has the mere mention of a book warrants no further interest from me anymore. Speaking to a few Mates, I'm not the only one.     Regards,

I've been saying the same for a while. I like Peter's approach with the Funk Lexicon where there are release details and a symbol giving a rough idea of how scarce or common a record is. It's not perfect as it can't account for a load of copies turning up but it certainly makes much more sense in a world of fluctuating prices.

Refosoul does have this feature readily available for Members to use.

I have entered 2 different prices for the same record as a test.

Therefore, I believe different opinions on value can be posted.

I have checked with Mike, mutiple opinions on value can be posted in Refosoul.

Plus the source can be what you have paid, would pay etc.
