Actually it was me ! ....... I got it from a soul collector in Leeds who had a lot of New Orkeans stuff .... I called it Ginger Logan as Ady was playing something credited to that name and they had a similar sound ..... I didn't do much with it so eventually moved it on to Kenny

Actually the Ady track was Betty Logan - 'You've got a lot to learn' ..... Wonder what happened to that or what label it was on ..... Anyway I changed the forename to Ginger cos the record label colour was orange .... Very strange

When did Guy spin it mate?  I've been trying to find a sound-file to jog the memory as I can't remember it.

Mid-8Ts...catchy uptempo mover with a good hook to the lyric. Not an easy disc...cult label as well.

Back to Marlyn Barbarin...seems her name appears on different labels with various spellings of her first and surname. I remember when I was researching her it all got a little confusing! her family is quite well known in New Orleans and I think she married the bass player in Walter Wolfman Washington's band? I was lucky enough to get x3 copies of the Nola 45 in one hit...didn't have any trouble moving them on.
