Posted August 13, 201311 yr Guy Hennigan played an alternate take of It's Worth Anything. Apparently you can only tell when you have both side by side. Can anyone tell me the difference in the labels or matrix?
August 13, 201311 yr Author apparently there is an alternate take and you can't tell until you listen, labels look the same.
August 13, 201311 yr As an aside, can anyone confirm whether this (whatever version) was a Memphis / Nashville recording originally?
August 13, 201311 yr Pete, you're thinkin about this recent thread about another of his HBR tracks "You Belong To Me" ..... ..... Seems that a UK released 45 containing "You Belong To Me" & the alt version of "It's Worth Anything" would find a few eager buyers !!! The tracks are available for licensing from US guy !!! August 13, 201311 yr As an aside, can anyone confirm whether this (whatever version) was a Memphis / Nashville recording originally? I would say it was a Nashville recording. He was one of Nashville WLAC jock Bill "Hoss" Allen's artists at the time he recorded it. The deep flip "The Best Of Luck To You" is more to my liking which was the title track of his album.
