last thursday while switching channels , gill scot herron was on in concert on the shy arts 1 channel , i thought i'll watch it another day as already recording to many channels , no sign of it being on again as i can't find it on there listings now i am really pissed off  did anyone watch it , will it be worth the wait when its on again , thanks in advance john.

 

It's on DVD and well worth a purchase. Very special man and it shows.

Saw the programme (missed first few mins), did focus on poitical angle and aspects of his music but great insight into the man with some very good live footage of his music and poetry. But I am a bit of a fan so would see it as good. Wasn't setting out to watch it all but just became engrossed.

Thoroughly agree with Jocko's comments; well worth viewing

It has been on several times in the last couple of months, I am sure if you keep your eyes peeled it will be on again before too long.

 

It was made quite a long time ago (80's 90's?) but a very enjoyable watch.

It's on Thursday 5.30 pm - 7.00 but will almost certainly be on again next week.

I only watched this for the first time last week and really enjoyed it. What a voice...even when just talking! It's on you tube too.
