October 22, 201311 yr Full and extensive story of Jerry's life coming in the new book. Spent a great day with him ending up with a Pizza Party next to his offices. Some great anecdotes and photos too! Ross and Renzetti - LEGENDS! Regards, Dave
October 22, 201311 yr I met Jerry in 1976 at his home in Southampton, PA with his late wife Columbia recording artist April Young. Always remember seeing his acetates including Love, Love, Love (instrumental) now was it Bobby Hebb or William Bonney's backing track!? Never forgot the story he told me about 'In My Lonely Room'- Martha and the Vandellas and him and Kenny Gamble copying it into The 81- Candy and the Kisses. Anyone who had a hand in writing 'I'm Gonna Make You Love Me' deserves every accolade! Super talented JR.......thanks KR.
