Posted July 11, 200618 yr anyone have an idea what flowers , we can make it happen and the philly box set go for cheers
July 11, 200618 yr Be interesting to see what the original solid centre copy of Flowers on JM's auction fetches. I think the reissue @ £100-125 is way overpriced, but it does fetch that kinda wonga. Philly Box set, debatable - certainly not as sought after as it was - vinyl copy I presume. I would say anywhere between £50-75 - maybe £100 on a (very) good day ?? Cheers Girth
July 11, 200618 yr What actually is the Philly Box set? Serious question cos I've got a Philly box set...didn't think it was worth tuppence
July 11, 200618 yr As I remember all the Flowers records came from Rod Dearlove back in the day and they cost about a £10 (which of course has no reflection of the value today so I'm not sure why i'm posting this..................................)

Cheers Girth I have a spare copy of the Philly Box set (Pete S - It's the 14 album box set from Streetsounds released in the late 80's of the top stuff from the Philly Int label) It's an orig btw - not those white label boots that were around a while ago. Please PM me if interested Cheers Steve
