I instantly thought it sounded like a Jackie Wilson song, but I don't know now. It's clearly is a "backing" track, as opposed to an instrumental in its own right. Would love to know.

It's a great track and it would be a shame if there wasn't a vocal version. I haven't got a clue though.

Not gonna argue with that...and to be honest I've never really appreciated the "Straight Ahead" side before last weekend, when I finally snagged a Japanese press of it and flipped it!

Never flipped the record but sounds great and agree could imagine Mr Jackie Wilsons vocals fitting well...
