Wasn't the Donnie Elbert 45 also on UK RCA?

I feel sure I have a copy of it somewhere but don't know where it fits in release wise with the other two

Top fives, tens or anything else are very hard to come up with, always changing - but here's a few that's getting repeat plays for me at the moment:

General Crook - Thanks but no thanks - Wand

Main Ingredient - Brotherly love - RCA

Roscoe Robinson - Don't pretend - Fame

Bettye Swann - You gave me love - Money

Heaven & Earth - Promises - GEC

You're right there John 3 UK issues:

ELBERT, DONNIE CBS 2807 GET READY / ALONG CAME PRIDE

ELBERT, DONNIE EPIC 7943 GET READY / ALONG CAME PRIDE

ELBERT, DONNIE RCA 2271 TIME HANGS ON MY MIND / ALONG CAME PRIDE

Roscoe Robinson - Don't pretend - Fame

Nice one John. Great crossover mover, even though he does lose the plot in the middle for a few bars.

Jordi

Couple of tunes I've been spinning each night for the past few days:

Miracles - Baby, Baby Don't Cry

John Gary Williams - Just Ain't No Love

Spencer Jackson Family - Bring Back Peace to the World

Exits - Got To Have Money

hope to have a few new ones this weekend......

My favourites on the decks at home at the moment are :-

3.Donnie Elbert - Along Came Pride

Great tune! CBS original UK released only, second issue on Epic.

Really nice underplayed oldie with a great version of the Temps' on the other side too :D £5.95 well spent i reckon !!

It suprises me actually, i would have thought a lot of these British releases are rarer than a lot of the American releases, yet they go for next to nothing, perhaps start a new thread see why.
