I know this is going over old ground, but is the Wigan clip about 4 mins into the Manchester feature from a different TV programme to the one I have posted below (which I thought was from a Something Else special on different dance clubs) and if so which programme?

 

Also if the BBC or whoever did the Manchester piece are able to pull these clips from the archives, is there additional footage that hasn't been seen? It looks more like a proper night than the Something Else one which if I remember right was filmed during non-club hours

 

And if there is additional archive footage that hasn't been seen would it be possible to get access to it? 

Paull Martin the presenter is a Jazz/Blues drummer and has played with the AWB. He was probably more qualified than most and probably genuinely interested?

Paul Martin is a drummer himself in Jazz and Blues bands and used to do session work for some of those 80s hair bands.
