Picked up a new book today - The Rough Guide To Soul and R&B - £15.99 from Borders.

Bugger, then saw it in HMV for £12.99

Apart from JM's fantastic Guides, my favourite so far has been Dave Nowells -"Too Darn Soulful"

You can do better to buy something like all music guide to soul. might not contain as much info but it would include more acts some lesser known and it has more cd/lp reviews then the average biography
