Cheers for this Chalky. Had a listen to the promo and they are all excellent tracks. A little Christmas present for myself sorted 

Great write-up Chalky which seems to have encouraged quite a few Soul Source members to hit the 'Buy Direct' button on the Soul Junction website overnight, with people not only buying the  Elbowed -Out cd but also copies of their previously released 45's.

A fantastic response to a album which is receiving a lot of positive plaudits, such as a recent review by former Blues & Soul scribe Bill Buckley who likened the sound of Elbowed-Out to a no lesser outfit than the 'Tower Of Power'. he quotes The sound of Elbowed-Out as being "Eminently danceable, soulful, melodic and gritty with a irresistable hint of funk.

The album has already been heavily featured in the playlists of Soul Source members and regular radio presenters, Cater, Gaurnori, Halsall, Hipkiss, Marshall, Merry, O'Donnell, Pragnell and Thorley's shows etc (Guy's who know a thing or too about good music, checkout their shows in the Soul Media, Radio section.)

P.S Anyone who is still deliberating over whether to buy a copy of Dee Dee Warwick's "You Tore My Wall Down (SJ533) then please don't delay as were close to selling out.

 

That is good to hear Dave.  Quality CD in my opinion with not one bad track on it.

Nice to see DDW almost sold out too, quality tracks which I'm sure will be a regular play up and down the country.

CD players in at our local gathering tonight (and about time too) so I'll certainly be playing one or two of these and will sound brilliant
