The 444 label was designed by John Bollen from Earby ( he met Dave Godin whilst at Art College in London and was instrumental in getting Dave 'up north' in the good old days).

John gave me some copies of the proposed label - I seem to remember it was red/white/orange/blue ( I could be well off the track on this - 35 years ago is a long time ago to remember a colour scheme) but I don't know where they got to. I've searched high and low for them but cannot find them. Can anyone shed any light on where they went? Mr Rounce perhaps? Still got all my letters from Dave ( and a Xmas card and postcard re coming to the Wheel for the first time dated 9th December 1970 !!
