A bit of technical help please if poss.

is there a ready made product out there - ie an overhead camera over the turntable and the technical bits that can project the record being played onto a back screen at venues?  I assume this has to be linked to a laptop, with the facility to switch the screen from one turntable to the other.

or ..... Can anyone advise how to do it please?  Seen it done at some venues and with the number of boots etc in circulation, think it would be a good idea.

many thanks

  • Sorry, the biggest bullshit idea to ever grace the Nothern Soul scene IMHO.  When knowing whether it's an original or not trumps the surprise of hearing that killer intro you love that sends you crazy

Simples... Just frequent venues with promoters you can trust to book dj's that you can trust.  If you are a promoter, police your venue to ensure you fit in that bracket. - Kev

Just completely loses the spontaneity.............
