Here's Part 2 of the 'Almost Forgotten' mix featuring some of the Really Big sounds of the day.

Interesting that many of these were very new or recent releases at the time, mixed with a fair old bunch of 60's and 70's rarities.

Some are probably due a revival, others never really went away!

Anyhow, give it a good listen and, if you were there, get yourself transported back to 1981.

And if you weren't around at the time you should still find it an interesting retrospective.

Yep - Morecambe would have come a year or so later, but the records were so good they endured right through to Bradford, Stafford, Morecambe, Warrington etc.

Guy covered up the Romeos.  He said Soulful Two was an oldie by Stafford and had been about since the late 70s.
