Posted March 13, 20178 yr I am going to Detroit for the first time at the end of the month. I'm hoping to go to the Motown musuem. Can anyone recommend bars/record shops/anything else? Thank you.
March 13, 20178 yr Google 'bars in the cass corridor' I particularly like honest?johns (sic) at 488 selden which used to have a great jukebox. Remember Bakers on the outskirts of town for live music I've not been to Detroit for 10 years but miss it big time
March 13, 20178 yr People's Records has to be on the list. Google it for the address and an interesting insight or two. Plus the owner (when he's not dj'ing around Europe), Brad Hales, is a member on this site. - Kev Edited March 13, 20178 yr by KevinKent
March 13, 20178 yr Be careful you don't spend hours sorting records for some shops, then they price them at full retail. Hello Records, Street Corner, Found Sound and Record Graveyard are worth visiting.
