Volumes was deffo played on Saturday night 

The Gladys Knight track was - It Takes A Whole Lotta Man For A Woman Like Me (Standing Ovation LP).

Thanks a lot for the replies. There was another one ... something like ..."take your time" played Friday by Mark Coe or Paul Dallinson. I'm almost certain it was Paul so I'm guessing it was an LP.
