are there two presses of this ...I've seen one with bigger writing on it (like the BMI) and one with a smaller font .My copy has the smaller font and has the nashville matrix stamp. Any ideas?

Yes there are two different original label designs, with different size print as you mention.  The labels are green and black.  My original plays well.

  The 1970's bootleg looks the same, but the colour is more like a dark blue/green, and the label is so very dark it's hard to read.  The sound quality on this bootleg is really low quality.
