    Hi Steve, it was a busy night with lovely sets from the other dj’s.  

  • mid to late 90s I had a tape with both sides of that 45 and it took me a while to find a copy then quite quickly a found a 2nd.   its a great 45.   Both long gone now.  It shot up

  • In heindsight it was a great time on the scene.

That’s a very nice playlist.

 

a lot of quality there.

 

i much prefer the flip to gigi but that’s a minor detail.

Thanks Dylan, it was difficult which side to play, but GiGi always brings back nice memories of the fantastic DDA Room that was at Lowton.

That’s the same time as the DDA Dylan, did you ever go? Jumping Joan, Paul Sadot and Karl Rhodes the three residents. So many fantastic guest too.

I didn't go I wonder on how these 45s gain popularity and think mine may have played a small part...

 

it went to ben summers at rugby one night.  It was after this I noticed it start to gain a lot of attention.

Going to different venues and following the dj’s that you liked and had records you wanted to hear. Not so many then and of course no Facebooks.

I’m sure yours did Dylan.
