The Prophets i think came from John Anderson at Soul Bowl i think, in the mid 70’s. The Donnie Wells one was from the Publishing Company/Producer.

It IS the USA acetate!!!!! Its a USA Mercury acetate of the USA Smash release; Smash was a Mercury label! Its therefore a USA Mercury ‘Pre-Production’ acetate of something they intended releasing on their USA Smash label!

I have some advice for you Neal; 1. Only buy what you understand, and 2. Only buy off someone you trust.

Clearly neither of those applies to you here!!!!!

Can I say what a great record the Donnie Wells is. One side proper northern, the other proper low rider. Surprised its not gone.
