There had always been discussion about this group being different to the Detroit group

This is the info I have from digging around

This Superlatives were an all male group from New Jersey:
St. Julian (pee wee) Bonaparte (lead)
David Jones (first tenor)
Leon Stuckey (second tenor)
Marvin (mousey) Williams (bass)
Gerald Applewhite (baritone)
Both the tracks, 'i still love you' and 'we're so lonely' were recorded in 1966, at Cameo Parkway in Philadelphia.

The Detroiters were apparently

James Edwards, Billy George Jones, James Stuberfield, Ray Took and Rip Washington. 

It would be nice to know and rectify as I cannot be certain and need your help (I could have missed it on another thread!!!)

maybe better-if rather than reviving old topics if you start a new one

The above info came from a previous topic (the second link Mike posted above) and you missed the last sentence which kinda verifies where the info came from.

Seems there's was a pic of the Detroit 'Superlatives' group posted on one of the other topics but  was hosted on a 3rd party source and is no longer available

anyone got a copy of the group pic that they could post up ?

There are 3 images on Discogs of the Detroit group but the New Jersey group are listed with them (uptite)
