I spoke with David Nathan about he movie the other night...he thinks it's great and thats good enough for me.

I downloaded the soundtrack after you first mentioned it the other day, it was horrible. Then again, probably not what I was expecting

Main release date is 16th January in the States. I'll be there. I've not seen the previews purposely, but am looking forward to seeing it.

See this at a BAFTA screeniong a few weeks ago - very good movie but prob best to bear in mind this is a musical adaptated to screen before it is a 'Soul' music picture. Jennifer Hudson can really SING. I was lucky enough to hear her blast out a few verses from 10 feet away at the Q&A after the screening. Some voice!!

Same costume as 'Ray' so pretty authentic wordrobe and settings not bad either. Don't go if you are a fan of Diana Ross basicly her story - right down to the outfits - and doesnt paint a very nice picture of her but I guess most on here will know the stories.
