a test/demo post of this 'new' feature

all members can now mark suitable replies to their posts in this the box forum 'solved'

feature could be useful for questions or help or info requests  etc etc

 

 

if you post a question and later get a correct/suitable reply from a member and now happy

You as the topic starter can then mark the reply as 'solved/solution' by hitting the link that shows on the reply

once marked 'solved'  then the 'solved' link shows at the top, a tick shows on topic listings and the member who helped gets a add to their solved count record as above 

I'd say it could be a useful add to the sites features if.... it does get used

Thought we had a similar thing already with "best answer". It's been a while since I saw that though so maybe that's now gone.

ah yep that's right, think it was dropped about 3-4 years ago?
