Sad to say that Clifford Frazier passed away Tuesday 6th October (2020),

 Clifford was just 19 when he was with Walter and the Admirations, Clifford also wrote Man o Man and Life of tears.

 Later as a member of Velvet Hammer he co wrote happy another Northern great..

Happy is my ringtone and a favourite tune for years and years.

He left his mark for sure.

I loved and bought this at the time, coming across it at Birmingham Locarno all-dayers. But at the time it was about it being a decent dancer. This video gives it a whole lot more personality and soul. Thanks for posting this.

One of my all time favourite tracks, Man O Man, if you left a comment on any of their YouTube videos there was a good chance that Clifford would respond.

In later years they performed as The Green Berets
