I've been asked if I want one for Xmas and figured, yep, a portable record player could be handy.

My records are mostly mint so I need one that won't wreck 'em, preferably in black with built in speakers. I quite like the look of this but does anyone have any recommendations?

Without looking too closely, they all basically look like the same player with different branding. I wouldn't be playing any decent records on a Crossley type deck...

I've no idea if they are any good.  Just posted the link for Ian to see as they where regarded as the top 10. Via a Google search 

I wouldn’t play anything worth more than a tenner on any of those. I guess that review site might be ok for deciding which bread maker to buy, but it doesn’t look too reliable with regard to hi fi recommendations! 😆
