It would have been late 81 early 82 as I purchased this from Dave Raistrick in August 81, for £50, and played it out as Don Gardner & The Chicago Hit Men  ... I lent it to Ian so he cut get an acetate cut to play ... and then he secured a copy for himself 

it’s getting harder to keep track of time as the years pass

Thanks Andy, was thinking late 70s, around 79 maybe, but yes could well have been 81.

Yes, not always clear in the memory and its only going one way... haha

I've checked my old notes .. I did purchase on 2 August 81 ... Dave said I could go collect from Notts Palais dayer and if I hadn't arrived by a certain time Soul Sam was having it ... I didn't drive so had to persuade somebody to take me
