C. M. Lord on CD at last. This is a great volume in the series. It was perfect in the warm garden this weekend.

Mine's on its way and will be first in the players as soon as it arrives. Really impressed with this series - long may it continue!

Great series, look forward to ordering, but where's number 13?  See link to my earlier grumble...

I am looking forward to receiving Soul on the Real Side number 15 later today.

In the meantime, partly to stop myself grumbling about the missing volume, I have curated my own playlist on iTunes for #13.  I do not think any of the tracks below have been included on modern soul CD compilations before.  And as a non-club-goer I do not know if all of these would light up the dancefloor, but they certainly set my soul on fire.

Now that's a volume I would buy and enjoy. A few of these have been on cd before but not on any comps as far as I know, and among these the Arthur Miles and Choice 4 tracks are relatively rare in that format.

Creme de creme is screaming for a reissue. As indeed are the first two Choice 4 albums. Etc.
