I know there are some on here like me that started their musical journeys in the late seventies and also like me have a interest in a broad range of genres.

There are some real treasures on offer here from a man that had a heavy influence on the ears of many folk so I thought it worth sharing the link for any of the less aurally blinkered members that might be interested.

I don't have any acetates but pretty much every single and album I have is fully autographed after the thirty-odd times I saw them live between '78 in Cambridge and '82 in Paris , as well as umpteen of the photos I shot over the years ...

Hi Andy ,

I'm still deciding what to do with them , along with all the others of bands from those years that I was shooting while most on here were doing Wigan , like SLF , Motorhead , The Undertones , 9 Below Zero , Siouxie and the Banshees , Toyah , Echo and the Bunnymen , The Cure , Gang of Four etc etc.

I'm still trawling through the negatives making hi-res (3600dpi) scans of everything , it'll be a while whatever I do as there's loads of rolls to go through.

Some were recently used in a film by Brandon Spivey called "Crass: The Sound of Free Speech (The Story of Reality Asylum)" which is doing well across Europe at the moment.

Do you have instagram account to show all these images. Lots of people go down that route could be good ?

And have them spread all over the internet willy-nilly , nah.

I've waited forty-odd years to do something with them so a little longer won't hurt.

If and when you get the photos published or whatever you seem fit.. would love to see them..

i was lucky enough to see loads of bands in the last year at school at Leicester University before I started going niters every week as Leicester, hinckley etc started up. Saw slf, Sioux sie, uk subs ,the damned, plus many others I can't remember Know there was a few two tone bads . people at school used To say are you a soul boy or punk ? Make your mind up?? But I just loved live bands/music. Also saw the who at Granby halls in Leicester awesome nite. 😁

Just had to dig out my slf, damned and sex pistols albums out..

This takes me back 45 years 😆
