I am trying to find some information about Al Williams I am nothing Palmer / La-Beat, and the story behind the both issues, I can't find any thread, strange, I understand it's my thing what I'm a negate for these things.

Any help will be welcome

La Beat is the local issue, came first. Palmer is nationally distributed and demo only.

For some reason I've found that using the Search feature whilst 'in' this thread just throws up this item , but doing the Search from the Activity feed offers up 411 items with the phrase "Al Williams" in the title , another minor quirky thing for @Mike to investigate ?

if you use the search from a topic the default is to search the 'topic'

you need to choose a 'wider' option than 'this topic' on the popup menu

The Palmer recording is far superior in sound quality.

I wouldn't say far superior, certainly better and doesn't have the fault at the beginning. Dancers would never know which was on the turntable mind.
