Question does anybody know the reason why Chuck Armstrong - How sweet it is, on Sound Stage is blocked on Discogs surely this wasn’t booted issue/prom cheap record, doesn’t say anything about it on Sir Shambling’s in John’s write up seems very strange.

His daughter asked for a cut from Discogs of every record/cd sold that her father was involved in. She threatened legal action if they did not.

Even though she stood little chance of winning Discogs decided it was easier just to ban sales.

The a-side was penned by Al Reed.

Almost all records that his compositions appear on are blocked from sale on Discogs "as a result of legal notice received by Discogs asserting that the release was not authorized by the rights holder. Ref. #438231"

There are totally legit Joe Simon, David Ruffin, Ernie K Doe etc. records that are blocked because of this. It's ridiculous.

Here's a list of the records, most of them are blocked:

She stood zero chance of winning. No royalties are paid on second hand records, discogs know this and should have just told her bring it on.

Royalties aside, i guess she thinks she should get something from her Dad's records being sold, second hand or not. I'm not saying she's right, but she obviously thinks she is.

She is deluded
