Ok I'm 60. My big sister is 76 and she used to go to the night owl allnighter in Leicester in the 60s.. and we were talking records earlier as she loves Dusty Springfield what's it gonna be And then she says do you you know long after tonight it's all over by her . I say no as she streams a new version of the three before eight classic. I've learned something new, and it's not a bad version

Thanks Roburt really appreciate that...

She did mention that there were lots of acts that she had seen at the nite owl. But because of her stroke sometimes she will remember and sometimes she doesn't. So I was surprised she remembered long after tonight is all over..

Just been talking to my sister, she's having a good day and she's told me about the artists that we're on there also she started to tell me about il rondo another club in Leicester with loads of live acts.

In the 80s I used to get my sister to take me to hinckley allniters after I had finished work as a chef in a pub or cleethorpes if we were at our caravan on the east coast....

It now explains why she said be careful what you take and make sure you know who it's coming from.. I now wonder what she did to stay awake although she denies it lol. At a niter in the 60s when everything was available 💊💊lol

There's a decent book on the Leicester music scene back then ... lots about the Nite Owl & Il Rondo ...

You Don't Have To Say You Love Me , are the titles of the other 2 albums.
