Anybody got any info on the New Orleans label.

So far i've managed to pick up..

Charles Allen and Earl Daniels and know of James Winfield but are there others ?

Would also like to buy a copy of James Winfield if anyvody can help on that.

There's also a Charles Smith 45 (1001 - "You Need Education"), reissued on a Night Train CD (Soul A-Go-Go).

I had the James Winfield "I`m A Man In Love" (tune!) on my last tape.... I do also have the storming Charles Smith "You Need Eduaction" but no further information on the label.

1017 William Brothers - "Closed for repairs/First one"

1021 Terry Brand - "I cant have you/The paper that I signed"

1022 Robert Martin - "Sorry' 'bout that baby/A bigger fool"

3973 Bobby Martin - "Slowly/Stranger in your world"

The latter doesn' fit the issue number sequence but is listed as being on Trend.

The tracks were istributed by Dover Records also from New Orleans.

now that has thrown a spanner in the works... any of these any good ?
