Posted July 17, 200717 yr 1) Does anyone actually know the record pictured below 2) Does anyone know why it's listed at £200, is it popular somewhere or has it been maybe? 3) If I was to sell it for £60 would anyone buy it?
July 17, 200717 yr 1) Yes, I know it but I don't own a copy. 2) No, I don't know why. But I suspect that it's the flipside, "Just When I Thought (You Were Mine)", which is the "right" tune. One for the beat ballad collectors or - if speeded up - perhaps something for the popcorn scene. 3) I have no idea but yes, probably. I sure wouldn't though. Stick it on eBay with a soundclip!

I saw you win that on ebay, I thought it was a reasonable price, this usually goes for more, and 60 pounds seems reasonable (although you didn't mention the condition). Backing group on this is the c-quents by the way, this is a DC record. There are 3 titles on this label, the rarest one is the al haskins 45 (manship had an acetate of that up fairly recently), I remember a few copies of the al haskins came out of that west coast saturn records find.
July 17, 200717 yr Author Yes you're right, I put the wrong side up, I'll change it in a minute and put up a sound clip. Thanks for the info Seb and Boba
