Don't buy inner sleeves here cos they don't fit inside the card sleeves :D

This is the only place I've found that does the lovely poly-lined paper sleeves for 45's which DO fit in the white card sleeves.

Unfortunately the postage is expensive as they are in the states, so it is worth a few people clubbing together to buy a couple of thou to make it all worthwhile. I suppose it isn't expensive compared to a mint copy of Martha Starr - Love Is The Only Solution

Anyway:

Yeah, I've used these guys a bit. Even for our first wedding anniversary, as it was PAPER by tradition, I surprised my man with a stack of the antique green sleeves for his records. This website is the only place I could find the real thing - and he loved them! I've also bought a few of their larger cardboard storage boxes for my bits - shipping cost was high, but it's worth it for the peace of mind and organisation.

I was desperate for paper/cardboard sleeves a few years ago, as I'd left all my cardboard sleeves back home (not a priority in the suitcase) and generally also brought records back each trip with every 2nd paper sleeve missing - just to save on weight in the hand luggage - nothing special, but they mean the world to me. I think I got new paper sleeves and my loud cardboard covers locally via a website company in Yorkshire. It was a bulk buy for the paper sleeves, but can't remember where from. I regret the paper sleeves buy, as I still need to chop them to fit them in the cardboard ones (I only squeeze them into cardboard if I take them out of the house).

We had a guy back home who got cardboard sleeves made up locally in bulk - and these were a bit larger, so the shipped paper sleeves fit well. They're great for storage, but didn't always fit in people's 'dj' box.

...So over all my morning coffee ramblings : my advice is to make sure your bits fit right, before you buy - and also get the sleeves for the paper weight you want, as some are just too thin.

Oh - and if you like a bit of colour:- think before you buy! blush.gif

I've tried everywhere looking for some heavy weight white card 7inch sleeves. I even paid a fortune from the American bags unlimited firm. Heavy duty white sleeves "my arse" they are thinner than the ones over here. I used to get fantastic quality ones from Beating Rhythm in Manchester, but they have stopped doing them. ranting_1.gif

Anybody know where I can obtain some of the heavy weight card ones I'd be eternally greatfull.

Phil.
