I'm looking for a price on a 7" of Looking Up To you" Michael Wycoff,RCA.

I've heard it's quite rare on a 45.

Thanks.

Cheers Taff.

Phil.

Am I allowed to disagree on the grounds of the amount that were pressed?

Major label, pressed in its thousands, a tenner, tops, I'd say.

It certainly is not RARE in the true sense of the word but £10 buys you very little these days and i would buy them all day long at that price.....30-40 sounds right

It was a Soul Bowl "front pager" back when it was released so I would imagine there were a lot around.

Having said that Bessie Banks "Don't You Worry.........." and even Eula Cooper "Let Our Love..............." were also "front pagers" so...................................................... :)

Cheers Paul

PS Buy the LP that shouldn"t set you back more than a tenner

Popsike - 2005 to date - lowest $84, highest $153. Also 12" $60 - $155.

Brian

TIS TRUE, IT SOLD QUITE A FEW COPIES IN THE STATES WHEN FIRST RELEASED, PEAKING AT # 47 ON THE R&B CHARTS IN JUNE 82. HOWEVER THID DOESN'T NECESSARILY MAKE IT ANY EASIER TO PICK UP THO'. PERSONALLY I THINK THE DEMO SEEMS TO BE QUITE TOUGH TO GET BUT STILL WOULD HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT 75 QUID. ISSUE A BIT COMMONER AROND THE 60 MARK.

BRI PINCH.

Maybe true Brian, but you can't go by them, as they don't list anything below a certain price, so all the hundreds of copies that sell cheaply aren't considered. I'd say go for the LP anyway, some other nice bits on it.

Got my 7" for £30 a few years back, but have seen it listed recently between £60 to £80. 12" seems to be easier to obtain than 7". Also reissued on 12"

Got a 12" some where, dead right much easer to pick up on 12" prob set you back £10 from a dealer must be easy on ebay??

Great caister record :D

whats the LP worth and anyone got one?

I"ve got one chalky, like PhillydaveG says theres some other good tracks on it.

Got mine for ten euros off a mate who was having a clear out a couple of years ago. I reckon you could pick one up for a tenner if you look around. Try
they have loads of soul LPs at good prices. Don"t buy anything less than vg+ 'tho
