I'll be in London tommorow and often on my journey back, if I get away in time, I'll call in at a local night in the midlands. Mostly when this happens there is nothing to my liking so I trundle up the M6 to the staffs area, Mace always has something on .
So why with so many free weeks do I see the Station at Dudley (great venue / music policy BTW) and a new venue Studio one (Don't know the venue but the line up is strong) plus one in Kinver just down the road (I have an ex colleague that lives 100yrds away) all on the same night.
This gives me a problem and I don't even live in the Midlands so at the risk of being controversial when starting a new night would it be too radical to pick a different week? I don't expect promoters to plan their nights around my various trips up and down the UK but avoiding established nights should be simple or am I missing something
