April 18, 200817 yr I wouldn't of thought so as originals are cheap, but then I'm no expert. Not much help really am I?
April 18, 200817 yr Has this been booted? Never BOOTED as far as I am aware. You do get Variations to the Label Shade accross the Label & Slight Credit Differences on some as is the case with "Hey" GW-21 but they're Originals. There is a White DEMO for each of the "Hey" GW-21 Label Variations for Instance. This is one of the Labels featured on Hitsville >>> Golden World <<< Edited April 18, 200817 yr by 45cellar

I have a copy of Laura Lee - To Win Your Heart - Ric-Tic RT-111 - White DEMO - Bought from Soul Bowl. It too has a Glossy finish to the Label. I suppose with Large Labels such as Golden World & Ric-Tic that this is bound to happen. Certain runs at the pressing plant, Supplier problems or just trying a different type of paper. Both labels do have their enigmas such as the Missing White DEMO's on certain releases. Plus why are some so easy to find and others virtually non existent. DEMO v's Stock Copy. All adds to the FUN When Collecting. Edited April 19, 200817 yr by 45cellar

No, these are originals. Had same shiny label demo from Soul Bowl in the mid-70s. No real demand at all on that or Rose Battiste then. (Check out the white glue used to stick 'em on! - is this unique to Golden World?) Billy Butler also recorded "I'll Bet You" on Brunswick. Rose's version is better, but I'm not really a big fan of the song either way. Edited April 19, 200817 yr by mel brat
April 20, 200817 yr BEST VERSION BY A MILE WHAT A GREAT SAX BREAK Do you think so John? I think Jean Carter's version is far superior... although I will admit to loving every version of this song. Great stuff
