So Mabel John and Kim Weston are the only artists to record for both Stax and Motown? That would be apart from Major Lance, JJ Barnes, Billy Eckstine, the Emotions.....still, nice to see her get some recognition in the National press

I watched it sunday, thought it was ok but little for any soul fans to get worked up about and 95% of the film was just a rural drama with some light comedy moments...a good 5 minutes rocking blues session at the end...apart from that...totally forgettable.
