Posted May 29, 200817 yr Has anyone got any info on the above record? Was it ever issued on a US Atlantic 45? According to my Dusty in Memphis Album it was a US single release though it is only included on the album as 1 of 4 bonus tracks. I've been trying to find one but can't seem to trace it i'm sure someone on here will know !! Any info appreciated Phatspinner

May 30, 200817 yr Author I'm now wondering if it only got a demo release ? Can anyone clarify by owning up to having an issue? If you have a spare I would be glad to buy it
June 1, 200817 yr yes it was issued. ive had 3 demos and one issue. one of the demos had a date stamp on it october 71 i think. i kept the cleanest demo for myself. wish id kept the issue now although the flip side was poor. i sold it to either joe lakin or derek greenhoff for £25 dave
June 2, 200817 yr was a regular play of mine and had been i believe unheard in barnsley till i played it, I was the instigator of bri pinch nearly going mad trying to find one after he heard me play it at the lacourum in barnsley, as his brother dave has quoted they managed to find three after 3-4 years of solid searching and if im right a couple came from the same seller issue and demo...very scarce record on both demos and issue... cracking sound i still have my demo wont part with it. June 2, 200817 yr Author That's great, another question answered thanks to the wonderful t'internet.....WHAT AM I SAYING !!! That's why I'm having to shut my shop! oh well, swings and roundabouts, thanks for the info and the scan guys. Dusty was of course a soul singer who happened to be white and a great soul music fan so it's good to remind people of this track. Phatspinner
