Just out of interest I bought a Live version of this on here 2 months back on UK Stateside, Must have also come out on ABC over there, or was it on the LP?

Anyhow if you have the normal release I'd track this down also, as its a KILLER!!!

UK Stateside is a slower live version, the US ABC 7" is non live and THE version to have!

The US ABC copy is the studio cut. Live one is nice to but the Studio pips it definitely. Both are on the Jazzman 45 reissue.

Love this tune and after being patient for a year or two, picked up a very nice UK HMV demo of the studio cut just in time for my Birthday last November. At a very reasonable price too. Makes a change

Liza my wife got chatting to a girl in some shop the other week, anyhow it transpires her name was Della, and she says it was cause her father was mad on the singer, she said 'you wont know her, she's very obscure' and of course we did..

is it 'The Solitary Woman' ? was it the same on UK I wonder?

Theres a nice live LP by her...offers a extra-long live take of "IWAVGY"..quite fancy that one. Forgot the label though as I gave the LP away as a present. Club-wise I am with Tommy, its the ABC 45 you gotta have...which I do of course but would let go
