I put this up on ebay four or five years ago

I received a question from a member

it went as follows

"This record should be hung from a tree and shot at"

"It is one of the reasons I stopped attending soul events and nighter back in the eighties"

"A truly awful record"

laugh.gif:) some people hey

I replied

"Chill out for fooks sake, if you can prove you have a gun, I will send it you f.o.c"

Just shows you can't please everyone, a record that still has some great memories for me, and a record that really used to get the dancefloors bouncing.

There's no such thing as a genuine Nimbus 9 label - it was just a production company that leased its masters to various major labels, and nothing more. So the answer to your question is that yes, it must be!

I was thinking the same thing Steve, definately late Wigan sound. Can't remember hearing it anywhere after 1981. :)

I like it, great good time dancer and brings back memories of youthclub nights and the baggies years.

It was played at the time of release, around 75, I liked it at the time and can think of loads more records worse than this one.

and everyone on the dance floor threw there arms up 'Can't live this way...woo...."

Why would it be booted anyway, surely this was readily available on Atlantic.

readily available now for a tenner or less on atlantic, but back in the day was anything available in vast quantities,we were all at the mercy of the people travelling to the states and bringing them back.
