Apologies for being off topic.

My girlfriend's fave album of the 80's was Herb Albert's Rise.

Seems to have been deleted. Any suggestions where I can start looking?

Unless its been reissued it could be a very hard one to find on CD.

Was the 12" of this not played at jazz funk clubs at wrong speed when new release?

Not wanting to be nit pickin Dayo, but if you search under Herp Albert you might av better luck...  :ohmy:

Doubt it!! :D Nearly!! Try Herb Alpert :D and yes Jock the album track was played at 45rpm at the time, I remember it well.

I played it myself at 45 rpm - the US 12" was at 33 rpm. Thanks for the help anyways...

Anyone else got a stupid irrational affection for the even earlier Herb Albert stuff? I recall it was always played at the local flea pit during the interval between B picture and the main flick - things like Spanish Flea and Tijuna Taxi give me a stupid grin to this day. :ohmy:

Try looking at the link i posted earlier in the thread... theres about half a dozen copies of the CD for sale on that site.....
