  4. Saturday November 4th sees a very special Northern Soul event in the history of our great scene. It is the first time an all-European DJ line up has been staged at an all nighter in the UK. I was inspired to do this after a recent 100 Club nighter which was invaded by about twenty Spanish enthusiasts who danced and whooped it up from the first to last records. Their vitality and enthusiasm was infectious and it proved to be one of the best dances for some time. Shortly after that a ragbag of young, wild Irish fans from all over their country turned up and they also had a ball, thereby lifting the atmosphere all around. Remembering the electric atmosphere of the first Vicenza nighter I went to in Italy and the hugely enjoyable European Saturday afternoon sessions at Cleethorpes, I thought it would be a great idea to give some of these fans and DJs a 100 Club Showcase. The DJs are a combination of serious collectors, veteran enthusiasts and record spinners who know how to entertain. It's impossible to represent the whole continent accurately, (I should have had a Scandinavian representative but the limited hours wouldn't permit) and tough on all the respected DJs who didn't make it. However if it's as successful as I think it will be, there's no reason why it couldn't become an annual pilgrimage and there would be chances for more countries and different DJs. I'm sure the open-minded 100 Club regulars will enjoy the spectacle and the lowering of the average age will hopefully liven us all up. 100 CLUB, 100 OXFORD ST, W1 SAT NOV 4th , 1.30 am – 8 am DJs Italy – Roccia Spain – Eduard Domingo Germany - Marc Forrest Ireland – John Dunne France – Stephan Yver UK – Me Ady Croasdell

Don't know the name of the song or the artist but the lyrics that are haunting me go like this, " I Know When A Boy Meets A Girl, His Old (Ole) Heart Begins To Jump And Whirl" If you could help me fine the actual title or artist for this song I would be forever grateful.
