Got the Solomon King on a West Indian Parlaphone White Demo and never seen one since. Good one for those who collect imports only.

I know what you mean Ged but as the saying goes you can't please everyone many records I plugged years back I got slaughted for and they went on to be top tunes and collected and played by the same people who slagged them off. I myself have said many a time " not sure about that one " only to be raving about it after a couple of more listens. But there you go, up the Blues tonight

Just thought I would bring this to the table, I picked up three Benny Curtis Records on the Dynamite record label some 20 ish years ago and at the time Precious One was my favourite one of the three. However one titled Loving Back Guarantee has got to be one of the best R&B stomping records I have ever listened to. I just wondered how much is known about this record and what it would be valued at, as I have only ever seen it listed on one American eBay list in all this time. Well there it is Benny Curtis " loving back guarantee " who knows it and has it ever been played apart from me some 20 - 15 yrs back at The Sportsman in Mac. Thank you Paul Kidd

I have a ultra rare Canadian United Artist Demo ( green ) looks out of this world and I have yet to see another in over 25 yrs. hence I would be looking for around the £250 mark. So rare and perfect.

Pondered for a while on this but decided to let it go, Only Ginger has the other copy so I'm told of this truly rare Monster tune. I bought it around 15 years ago for serious money and played only at the odd nighter and serious soul nights. Due to its rarity and of course being a brilliant tune I am looking for offers over £2500. The condition Ex is as i got it back then as its been very well looked after. Your quite right, let's be honest romantically to me it's worth more than most people, some think it's crap and so on. To me it's a £500 - £600 record tops as there are hundreds out there, we must have a hundred in Stockport. Can't get anyone to sell it to me though, I once turned down a cracked demo for £15 which played perfect, more fool me they say. Wigan was a cheap night out back then getting the bus from Manchester foR 4p etc, but I've paid up since ha ha

Here we go then, this record has eluded me for far too long, not arsed if it's a demo or an issue don't really want to pay top dollar unless it's flawless, but would have a vg copy at the right price. Would also swap a early collectible table space invader machine, the ones you used to throw your money in back then. Very hard to come by working a treat with glass top etc for 2 players as you know. Theses can go for upto abag of sand on eBay but I'm a lazy bastard as everyone knows and can't be bothered. Can't fit it in my new bar, pic's can be sent. Cheers P K
