  1. Didn't it used to be £100 Steve? Wouldn't have a clue now, probably a bit less as most Lp's seem to have come down a bit, although it is always a wanted album as you say.
  2. I played it at the last Soul Funkshun all nighter and it went down very well, had quite a few enquiries about what it was. If it had been discovered on our scene as a new release back in the late 70's/early 80's, the breakdown in it would have had the stompers and fast feet shufflers in a frenzy.
  3. I know it was covered up Joel, I assumed it had been uncovered by now. But yes you're right, it's a hard one for the label and mine also came from that top guy and dealer as yours did.
  4. The Roy Dodson is a killer that I reckon has a very rosey future on both the modern and northern scenes. Very much in the Tony Fox - 'Love, let love' mould of feel good uptempo dancers.
  5. Depends on the VG condition of it. I would have thought about £80 - £100 for a nice one, may be £50 for vg? If it's styrene wear then less.
  6. An average northern night then?
  7. Where can we hear that then Dave?
  8. I don't quite agree with you there Dave, DOS does come close. I agree that Charles Mintz is the better, more exciting version with real punch in the delivery but you can't dismiss DOS as nicey, nice harmonies. And to be honest i would much rather have a mint DOS than a knackered Charles Mintz.
  9. yes and he would have to pay customs fees on it. I'll stick to my mint Delegates of soul.
  10. Tom Emanuel Experience should be about £50-£75 although I've seen it for a lot more. Chet Davenport about £100
  11. Might well have been Dave, they were all mint issues with sleeves, I never really took to the record to be honest, It had all the right ingredients but was lacking something. Could do with those copies now though.
  12. I got a few mint copies (vinyl issues) a few years ago. Sold 'em all for about £25 -£30 each.
  13. Gorgeous sweet flip 'Here I am'.

I can't say I'm crazy about either of them but For Real is the stronger of the two for me, with a nice atmosphere, but I think the vocals are weak, Jordi
  15. I wonder if those piles of 45's in the background are 'Open up your Heart'. Jordi
  16. If anyone wants to swap their UK label version for my lovely US label version, please get in touch. Jordi

  23. Boz Scaggs having at least a couple of killers that used to get played.
