  4. No. Yellow is orig 77 label. 1st label was local Impel. it was also legally re issued on multicoloured 77. I'm not sure if Anne Sexton has been bootlegged at all has it?
  5. I don't think this has gone up much in price since John Anderson had that first batch after that Yarmouth weekender when it was tune of the weekend, can't remember the year, perhaps 2000?

  7. I wish I could walk into my local pub and hear a set like that.....Superb Steve.
  8. Yes, it's the same song as the flip of Bob Relf's northern biggie 'Blowing my mind to pieces', written by Bob Relf. Hiram and Direct is one of my favourite records and is never far away from my turntable. ( I love the uptempo flip as well).
  9. Some nice tunes there but I have to take issue with you when you say the flip of Mighty Generation's 'MG Beat' is awful....It's one of the best sweet soul tunes of all time in my opinion and even if slow, sweet stuff isn't your thing, to describe it as awful suggests to me that you're totally deaf.
  10. Problem is Bob, those that have it, me included, don't want to sell it.
  11. Sounds like garage to me. Agree, it's Northern, but soul....not to these ears.
  12. I used to love this one. Jades.
  13. and Al Foster Band for me too.
  14. I reckon you'll find ebay UK just what you need.
  15. Great price on Ronnie west, someone should snap this up.
  16. You can't get more dramatic than those awesome strings in 'I Travel Alone'. It just takes you somewhere far away when you you hear them.
  17. Jordirip commented on Godzilla's article in Source Archives
I've spent so many hours listening to this guy. He has left the world with some beautiful music. RIP Donald.
  18. Nice one Alfie. I've been after that for years. Arthur Fenn's old Total Warmth c/u. If you manage to upgrade at any time I'll take this rough copy off your hands.
  19. They're too busy trying to keep the stylus off the slip mat.
  20. I must put those spares of the Hopkins Bros and united Sounds up for sale. Bloody charity shop finds.
  21. Jordirip replied to a post in a topic in Record Sales
Nice prices Leo. The other side of Rev.TL Barrett is a cracker too.
  22. He hasn't sold it though has he?
  23. Confucius he say....... never DJ at weddings, in pubs, at oldies nights or scooter events.
  24. Ace record, always in my playbox. The strange slow flip is really nice too.
