  1. I Agree with you Sean, the thing with Nobodies Children is, like a lot of the funkier end of soul, that they sound great in a smaller, sweaty venue rather than a big cavernous Northern type of hall, and they certainly sound better played out anywhere rather than out of shitty computer speakers. Anyway as you say each to their own. It's got a lovely sweet group sound on the flip BTW and in my book it's a pure soul record, written and produced by Chet Davenport. Right, where's my Cathy Davis and my Tommy Trojan? Jordi
  2. Totally agree Sean, I tend to like oddball 70's records like this one, and I try to go to places that programme that kind of stuff (along with other stuff obviously) to people that like it. Jordi
  3. Hard to say as there's only a small amount of known copies. I've got a copy, the guy I had it from in Canada had a copy, a japanese guy has a copy and DJ Honky has a copy. I don't know of any others. Jordi
  4. It's Nobodies Children - Shardarp (Toeholt) from 1976. Top tune indeed!! Jordi
  5. I would have thought about £40 Stefan. Jordi
  6. I can't speak for Nev Jocko but I would imagine he buys stuff to move on at a profit or trade for things he likes better or wants to DJ with. Can't see anything wrong with that personally. Jordi
  7. Didn't "Over and Over" come out on an Ensign 12"? Best track for me on the LP is "What you trying to do to me". Quality tune. Jordi
  8. I've got a CJ Surge but I'd rather trade. PM me. Jordi
  9. I've seen a few of these recently Mark. It seems to be a bit of a new discovery. I nearly tried to get one till I heard the full soundclip with dodgy guitar in it and realised it wasn't my cup of tea. Nice drum beat though. Jordi
  10. Absolutely fantastic flip Adam, you're right! Falling out is nice but what a surprise I got when I flipped it over! Jordi
  11. How much does this go for? I've just recently sold one for £100. Sorry Donkit, I know this doesn't help you. Jordi

I've got one you can have skymark for £65. Let me know. Jordi
  13. I used to have it mate but I sold it a couple of years back, I never got into it really. You could try Jason Stirland, it's the kind of thing he may have to sell. Jordi
  14. Hi Ray, Do you still need the Dells? I PM'd you re. condition etc. Jordi
  15. Just wondering really. All the other categories bump to the top when someone posts, so why doesn't Events Lookbacks? Should this post have been in Events Lookbacks? Jordi
  16. I've got a Dells you can have Ray. PM me. Jordi
  17. If your grading is accurate, £60 is a steal for this killer tune!! Jordi
  18. about £125 for this Matt. Jordi

Aye up mate, hope you're well Adam. Ovide should cost you about £50 but it should be cheaper on the Volt label. Jordi
  20. I've got a 45 somewhere if you want it. How much does it go for? Jordi
  21. PM'd you Mark. Jordi
  22. Gasher, I think it's more of a disco version of "Sweet Sweet Baby". I heard an audio clip once on ebay and I didn't think it was as good as the orig. sweet sweet baby. Jordi
  23. I'm only 5 pages in to this thread so far but, Nicely put Jocko! Jordi

I saw a copy of this 45 go for over $500 on ebay. May be I should stick mine up on ebay, unless anyone here wants to buy it (for a lot less). Jordi
