One thing i will say whilst we're on the subject... any body else find those metal middles too big for certain records? Not a problem if you can centre a record without one... me.. not a chance... have to play something else!

I remember being at Shotts all nighter many many moons ago and this pissed up bloke asked Guy Hennigan that very same question.... Guy said "Two different types of record players mate......." The bloke's mate said to him... "Why didn't you ask me.... i knew that...." Was very funny....

I have to agree with you Chalky.... Masqueraders c /up is without doubt THE best thing i've heard for at least the last 10 years... INCREDIBLE TUNE!! It would still be an incredible tune if all it cost was a fiver... and everyone of us could have one!! Who knows... it could be...

Just look on any Soul or Nothing thread... or in Events... i would think it will be there!

Yes... he was over in Manchester a couple of months ago for Alan Darkers wedding.. didn't see him though. Did see him at the Stafford reunion though... hasn't changed a bit... TOP LAD!! Ady's one of the people i should thank... or is that curse... for sealing my fate on the soul scene. It was one of his tapes that started me on this road i'm still on today!! Funny enough.... Larry Laster was on that tape!!

Ady turned round to me and said.... "I'm sure i've got this at home somewhere... it's bollocks!" Top lad Ady.... but God didn't you just hate him when he did that!! Pretty sure he swapped it a couple of weeks later... can't remember what he got for it.... think the Shufflers might have been one... not 100% though..
