Too Bluesy To Be Played?
Proper good Blues Tune. Proberbly go down well at The Hideaway. Like I said good stuff, but a bit too "trad" for general consumption. ATB Tony

- Instrumental Of Tears Of A Clown
Do you mean the version that was played very early days of Wigan?? If so, that was on a cheap UK lp Sounds Of Motown or something similar, instrumental versions of various big Motown tunes, on Hallmark or one of those labels . Tony- Genuinely Rare Records
I seem to remember it being The Old Grey Whistle Test, they were doing Right On Be Free. also had others like--Bill Withers--doing Harlem, no less, Curtis Mayfield, Richie Havens etc. ATB Tony- Why Are They Playing That In Here ?
In Matalan Bury heard "Can I Change My Mind"---Tyrone Davis. And in a Beefeater whilst in Dundee "California Dreamin'"---Bobby Womack. Tony- 60's Club Soul & Motown
Yes my wife to this at Tameside Hippodrome and loved it! Now she's not really into Northern but likes some of the 60's stuff. We are not intending it to be another Northen Night, just as has been said stir some memories and play some stuff that doesn't get out much nowadays. We are looking at a room that could have come straight from "Life On Mars". Any tips for tunes gratefully received. ATB Mr. Pitiful- 60's Club Soul & Motown

Meself and Steve was having a natter about some of the stuff that first got us interested way back when. You know things like, Chain of Fools, Love Man , I got what it takes, I thank You , Funky Street, Top of the Stairs etc. etc and more Motown than you can throw a brick at. We thought we might give a night a go spinning this kinda stuff. Think it'll go.?? Tony- Star Treks
I have been told that it is. Tony- Dont Usually Score Many Bargains But Just Got For £12
Not as good as that but, in a local record emporium came across that luvverly 70's tune "If you wanna go back"--Jean Carne, marked up at £5, very reasonable thought I, took it to the counter, the man said--"give us 2 Quid" Tony- Wanted-prestatyn
