Just bought the Ellerine Harding album on Mainstream , got the demo for £30 , looking forward to it arriving as I'm a big fan of Alice Clark but apart from a couple of tracks that people have uploaded onto here , I don't have a clue about the album or her ! ,so blind as a bat on this one , bring it on ! ,

£50 - £60 I'd say ,there's been a few on here this year , good luck ,

In the last recession as a retail manager , late 80's was working for a major high st retail chain , we were all summonsed , six managers ,to the flagship store in london and given one month to prove ourselves , the winner being in charge of the store and five without a job ! Unfortunately for me I had just finished my " Stafford " period and moved to London to " sort myself out " , falling monthly into the arms of the 100 Club !!! My new boss was a hardnosed power exec from Leeds who'd been sent down to sort us out and was a major twat !!!! After working a 16 hr day one saturday in the sales period he offered to give me a lift home , as I collapsed into his porchse passenger seat he pressed play on the cassette ! Out blasted The Dynamics - Yes I Love You Baby I was gobsmacked , wheel / casino / torch / mecca /regular and we were best mates for 3 weeks , talking about records , nighters , etc , Then he sacked me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorted Firstly , this ain't a £200.00 album guys !!!! it's a uk release from 1989 ! , yes it's a rare / indemand one cause no bugger wants to part with it , BUT please , those who replied with silly figures , stories of immense rarity , WISE UP !!!! Secondly those who replied sensibley , thank - you for taking the time to do so ,

Its on there mate , $1395.00 , been on for about six months , IT WAS $ 1795.00 ! , but due to credit crunch / a slight warp it's been reduced over the months to this figure , Don't even try to bargain , rock solid price , I know two lads that have offered to within a couple of hundred dollars and been turned down flat,

The hurricane / atom bomb story story was my slight twist of humour !!! If you read the story about the copy on ebay ( currently for sale ) The seller goes into a lot of detail about the natural disasters following the albums release

Been after a copy for a while , AND realise there's been a copy on evil bay for donks around the $1400.00 mark , BUT any ideas in the current climate what a REASONABLE price for this would be ? AND Considering it's bought for " She's so Good " which is a relatively mid priced tune , why the album price so high , yes I'm aware of the hurricane / atomic bomb story !! ? Answers on a postcard !

Come on guys , somebody MUST have a copy for sale !!! I thought getting a copy of Beres Hammond " Just a Man " original album was a nightmare ( 2 weeks ) BUT this is !!!

Bought a sealed copy of Timothy Wilson album from a dealer in the usa , when it arrived it was badly warped but playable with no sound distortion , neither me or him could of known due to it's sealed condition , I e-mailed him on receipt and stated that I was'nt having a winge BUT in future sacrifice the SEALED avenue for checking the vinyl as some of his future customers may be a it arsey !! He was gutted and sent me half of my payment in return , worried I'd slag him off to uk buyers , I returned it in good faith and said no worries , that's life ! He could'nt believe it , having dealt with perfectionist usa dealers for years . Yes , we all want mint bargain vinyl ! , especially when on occassion you have to pay top dollar , but ebay is'nt called evil bay for a reason kids !!
